After the successful implementation of DMS’ GasPro software for their Trading and Scheduling system last year, Adams Resource Marketing (Adams) has now also successfully completed the implementation of GasPro’s Accounting & Financial system. This completes the final phase of their project to replace their previous custom built gas management software.

After their rigorous testing of the GasPro system together with the additional enhancements that DMS created specifically for them, Adams was pleased to move forward into this final phase of replacing their old system. They especially love the aspect of having to enter transactional data only once, and have it seamlessly flow throughout the system—all the way to the financials.

Adams Resources Marketing Ltd., subsidiary of Adams Resources & Energy, Inc., is a Houston based wholesale purchaser, distributor and marketer of natural gas. Their operation focuses on the purchase of natural gas at the producer level, and they distribute approximately 400 million cubic feet of natural gas per day to customers located in market regions from the Gulf Coast through the Northeast. Supply is concentrated among approximately 60 independent producers with the primary production area being the Gulf Coast of Texas and the offshore Gulf of Mexico region.
