Data Management Solutions (DMS) has announced its annual GasPro User Group Conference is to be held September 17-19, 2008. The conference will be at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center in The Woodlands, Texas.

Due to property damage and massive power outages in the Greater Houston area caused by Hurricane IKE which hit the Galveston/Houston area on September 13, 2008, DMS announces that the planned 2008 User Group Conference that was scheduled for September 17-19, 2008 is to be rescheduled.

Early morning September 13, 2008 a category 3 Hurricane, Ike, ripped through the Houston/Galveston are with category 3 winds and category 4 storm surge waves. The entire area suffered much property damage, flooding and power outages, some for weeks following the storm. DMS regrets that the Houston area was so severely affected by the hurricane, but as with any storm, reports that there was a silver lining for DMS and their clients.
